Simple Machines at School

For STEM class we had to go around the school and find three examples of simple machines. These are the pictures of them.

In this picture I am pointing at a screw. It is obviously an example of a screw.

In this picture I am laying on a flight of stairs. Stairs are an example of an inclined plane, with footholds cut into it.

In this picture I am pointing to a clock. Inside of the clock there are gears. The gears make the hands on the clock move.

In STEM class we watched another video. This is my drawing of a screw, wedge, and inclined plane.

In STEM class, we watched a movie about simple machines. Then we were told to draw, and label, a picture of the three simple machines we saw during the video. Finally, we were told to upload it to our blog.

For STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) I had to create a blog with a description of myself. I'm a pretty laid back guy. My favorite bands are Tutu and the Pirates, Silver Abuse, Nirvana, The Ramones, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Metallica, and Soundgarden. Needless to say, I like rock music. I play drums in the band. My hero is Lars Ulrich, drummer for the band Metallica. I'm also a big fan of Dave Grohl who plays rythym guitar for the Foo Fighters.

As for sports, I play basketball, track, and cross country. My favorite sport is basketball, but I'm not very good. In track I run the 110 and 200 meter hurdles and do high jump.
